Lær at hyle som en ulv, skrive sangtekster og synge som et kor! Eksperimenterende korworkshop ledet af kunstner Maria Lepistö og korleder Josh Herring med afsluttende fælles koncertoptræden i Brønshøj Vandtårn.
Maria har som performancekunstner brugt tre år på at lære at hyle. Josh er sangskriver og korleder, og har grundlagt Queer Community Singing Group. Sammen guider de dig gennem stemmeøvelser og tungebrækkere, der får dig til at lyde som en ulv i en flok, hvor vi kalder og svarer hinanden. Ved at lytte til optagelser af ulve fantaserer vi om, hvem de er, og hvad de siger til hinanden, mens vi skriver sangteksterne. Langsomt bevæger vi os fra at hyle til at synge som et kor.

An experimental choir Workshop by artist Maria Lepistö, and choir leader Josh Herring. We will learn how to howl like wolves, write song lyrics, and sing as a choir. Afterwards, we perform together in Brønshøj Vandtårn.
Maria is a performance artist who has spent three years learning to howl. Josh is a songwriter and choir leader who founded the Queer Community Singing Group. We willguide you through vocal exercises and tongue twisters that make you sound like a wolf, calling and responding to each other. Listening to recordings of wolves, we fantasize about who they are and what they say to each other and write song lyrics. We slowly shift from howling to singing as a choir.
