Yuuf is a band based in London, UK, that brings together a diverse ensemble of musicians hailing from 4 different countries.
The group consists of Anthony Boatright (English) on bass, Hugo Cottu (French) on guitar, Andrin Haag (Swiss) on handpan and percussion, and Oliver Overgaard (Danish) on drums. Brought together by a shared passion for exploring global sounds, these artists fuse their cultural influences to create global psychedelia instrumental music. They blend elements of Motown, West African rhythms and ambient textures as well as many other genres to create their own sound.In the short span of one year, Yuuf have recorded and produced their debut EP "In The Sun" that was released in early June 2024. Silky Spring, the first single of the band came out in late February and flew into the airwaves of BBC 6, KEXP, KRCW and other radios from the US, Spain, Switzerland and Denmark.
