Two of Denmark's most dedicated and progressive jazz musicians join forces with acclaimed U.S. drummer Allan Mednard for a unique concert at Christiania Jazz Club.
Drawing on a wide range of influences - from post-Andrew Hill free improvisation to Scandinavian roots - Simon Linnert stands out as one of the most versatile pianists of his generation. Having lived in the U.S. for several years, he has worked and performed with artists such as Kenny Wollesen, Caleb Curtis, Chris Higgins, and Tony Scherr. He has also ventured into film, scoring documentaries by Oscar-nominated director Simon Lereng Wilmont, among other projects.
