Det er derfor med kæmpe glæde, vi atter kan invitere til koncert med mesteren i vidunderligt samspil med Jeppe Holst!The Italian composer, pianist and bandoneon player Paolo Russo from Pescara, has lived in Denmark since 1996. He is a conservatory-trained classical and rhythmic pianist and started in 2001 playing the bandoneon. Paolo has lived in Denmark for over 28 years and is an active part of the Danish and international jazz community travelling all over the world presenting his music and unique approach to the bandoneon in live performances and in the studio through a myriad of collaborations and through his own more than 20 albums as a soloist and bandleader.Since 2022 he has been the creator, owner and artistic mind behind "Paolo's Jazz Club" which is located on the island of Møn in the South of Denmark. A unique little pearl of a jazz club where music takes center stage. Jeppe Holst is a Danish guitarist and composer born on the island of Møn. He picked up the guitar at age 16 and began to study in 1999 at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen. He has played many concerts with both Danish and international musicians and he has recorded and toured with different artists around Scandinavia and Europe.
With his large genre-knowledge, he manages to move smoothly around nearly any style of music, using different types of guitars. In recent years he has been focusing on his new passion, the special 7-string nylon guitar, gathering new inspiration in his compositions, a successful blending of jazz and South American music, expressed and modulated by the musical heritage of his own Scandinavian background.
