My school years were marked by bullying, which was one of the reasons my addiction began. Outside of school, I found communities where I gained access to amphetamines, which gave me the confidence back that the bullies had taken from me. Soon, the parties turned into marathon events from Thursday evening to Sunday morning, which was fun but devastating for my mental health.
After school, I financed my cannabis use by selling oxycontin pills in the local community. I became addicted to pills, heroin, and cocaine. My drug addiction cost me my apartment, and my girlfriend and I ended up homeless.
