Now, the platform Breaking is featuring the dialogue exhibition "Turmoil of Midst", which closely examines the consequences faced by victims of war, based on the personal experiences of Mikkel Hørlyck and Mohammad Jaafers
Breaking is an exhibition platform showcasing a rotating selection of exhibitions by emerging Danish and Nordic artists who work with the photographic medium in various ways. The platform is now presenting the dialogue exhibition Turmoil of Midst, which delves deeply into the consequences faced by victims of war, based on Mikkel Hørlyck's and Mohammad Jaafer's personal experiences in Ukraine, the Mediterranean off the coast of Libya, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Sudan
Based on real stories and events, the exhibition presents two artists who, from different perspectives and backgrounds, draw attention to those whose lives have been uprooted by war. Hørlyck and Jaafer document the state of turmoil experienced by people who find themselves in the midst of this chaos every day. It is this very state that the title refers to.
The participating artists are: Mikkel Hørlyck (DK) and Mohammad Jaffer (SUD).
