I freeze at the thought of the loss of control and the humiliation of the small fall and feel the anxiety of the great, never-ending fall. Because after the fall there is nothing. Or is there?
I have stood on people's heads, performed in trapeze and rope high up in the air and been thrown spinning around between people. I overcome myself every day. And I fall, my body can fall.
I have practiced falling all my artistic life. The small fall, the big fall, the lumpy, the violent.
I have developed a feeling for falling. I know the difference between falling and failing. I know the fall that happens so quickly that you hardly see it, and the fall that continues for several minutes, several hours, or several years."

In THE FALL of Cikaros, the stage is occupied by three of the country's leading circus artists: Signe Løve Anderskov, Henriette Aarup and Kajsa Bohlin, as well as the musician Mika Forsling.
They have worked professionally with (not) falling for over 20 years. Now they share their anxiety and wonder with the audience, and explore the anatomy and mythology of the fall.
A journey that throws long threads into cultural history from the Fall and the myth of Icarus, through Aristotle and Camus, to Einstein and Inger Christensen.
