National Conference in Odense

All anti-racists who seek knowledge, inspiration and collective action are welcome! The day includes 3 exciting presentations on: 1. THE NEW RIGHT-WING WAVE (English) 2. UNITY IN DIVERSITY - with the 3F Union(Danish) 3. EU's Migrant & Asylum pact(Danish)

The National Conference is for all interested anti-racists and friends of refugees who seek knowledge, inspiration, and collective action!

Come and listen to a single presentation or join us for the entire day.

Participation is FREE, but you must register by clicking "attending" on the Facebook event (https://fb.me/e/48a6zq718), or by writing to Mail@ModRacisme.dk.

We will eat together, but each person pays for their own meal.

PROGRAM
10:30-11:00:
Arrival and welcome. The café opens for the sale of beverages.

Presentation of a new leaflet and stickers.

11:00-12:30: THE NEW RIGHT-WING WAVE (in English)

The new right-wing wave is not just "populists".
How "The Great Replacement" both unites the right-wing and spreads to mainstream parties, particularly affecting Muslims and Palestinians.

13:30-15:00: UNITY IN DIVERSITY (in Danish)

Examples of how a diversity strategy can include ethnic minorities in the community at the workplace and in the union, making everyone stronger.

We can present a diverse group of active 3F members with different backgrounds:

15:30-17:00: THE EU'S MIGRATION AND ASYLUM PACT

Is it a formalization of existing practices, or? What does it mean for refugees in Europe/Denmark and for refugees who wish to seek asylum in Europe?

Michala Bendixen from Refugees Welcome will introduce this topic.

Local groups of the Joint Initiative against Racism and Discrimination and common projects.

ACCESSIBILITY
The event takes place on the ground floor of Ungdomshuset's café, where there are several seating options available, including chairs without armrests and sofas next to the café.

There is also children's toys in the sofa area, and this space can be used as a quiet area for anyone needing a break. Additionally, there is easy access to outdoor areas from the café.

Ungdomshuset's entrance can be accessed via a ramp from the courtyard, which is located on Østre Stationsvej near the light rail stop Odense Banegård. Parking is available in the courtyard.

An accessible toilet is located on the ground floor, and there is an elevator to the other floors of the building.

Service animals are welcome
