But yes, we are taking the very beloved BurlyBar concept and we're going to town!
Friday the 22nd of November we are doing a real "Fredagsbar" at the wonderful Metronomen on Frederiksberg - yaay!
So we will move out of our normal frames and into this beautiful culture house. And - for one night only - open up BurlyBar to everyone who wants to experience the fun of an open burlesque stage, where anything can happen!
What is BurlyBar?
BurlyBar is yourburlesque-playground, open for basically anything burlesque related. Here you can meet your fellow burlesque nerds to develop ideas, plan acts, practice your stage performance in a safe and supporting crowd, show of your costume creations or play around with improv.
The first part of the night is the open stage. This is not a fully produced show, it is a space for unfinished material, it's for mistakes, it's for pros, it's for playing around, it's for your favorite choreo you have danced a million times, it's for practice, it's for newbies, it's FOR YOU! In the wise words of Peekaboo Pointe: "We don't make excuses; everything is as it should be!" And the rest of the night is for dancing, bubbles and burly-talk <3

To join this fabulous event you pay 75,- to BOX: 5895VR. No later than Tuesday the 19th of November! All money goes into the free bar, that this night will be filled with lots of bubbles (and some beer and soda).

Time and place
Doors open at 18.30, from 19.00 some lovely lounge music will be playing, and at 19.30 the open stage begins.
The venue is Metronomen at Godthåbsvej 33, 2000 Frederiksberg, right by Aksel Møllers Plads Metro.

All that glittery stuff we know you have in the back of your closet. Or just whatever you feel most fabulous in <3
Can I bring a friend?
Yes you can! This BurlyBar is a public event, so you can bring anyone who's interested in burlesque. But maybe tell your friends about the concept - It's not a professional show, but a bar with entertainment both from the experienced pro and the brave beginner.
We can't wait to share another magical evening of burlesque with all of you.
