A unique opportunity to test their skills, develop choreography, and expand their understanding of the choreographic genre of vertical dance DAVertikal danser Miriam Swartz ønsker med sit residens på Åbne Scene at sætte ringe i vandet og udvide både interessen og potentialet for at dyrke vertikal dans i Aarhus. Det kunstneriske team vilinspirere aarhusianske dansere og scenekunstnere til at eksperimentere med deres fag og på sigt etablere bedre muligheder for at kunne udvikle værker og koreografier i vertikal dans lokalt.Projektet skal fungere som katalysator for interessen for genren og give nye fremtidsperspektiver for at danse på væggene over hele Aarhus. ENWith her residency at Åbne Scene, vertical dancer Miriam Swartz aims to create ripple effects and broaden both the interest and potential of working with vertical dance in Aarhus. The artistic team seeks to inspire Aarhus-based dancers and performing artists to experiment within their practice and, in the long term, establish better opportunities to develop works and choreographies in vertical dance locally.The project is intended to serve as a catalyst for generating interest in the genre and envisioning new future possibilities for dancing on walls across Aarhus.
