Something is cooking in the Aarhusian cultural growth layer. The cultural scene in Aarhus is bubbling with energy and growth. On the first day of CKB, we invite you on an exploration of the city's dynamic growth layer. Get an inside look at the creative forces behind some of the leading and most progressive initiatives in the scene and meet the people behind these creative projects.
You can also look forward to exciting conversations about the emerging cultural scene across generations, and discussions on what happens when established institutions step in to support and collaborate with this growth layer. The day will end with a keynote by Esben Weile Kjær, followed by a magical community dinner organized by De 7 Munde and Kaosteater at the venue Turkis. You won't want to miss this!

After exploring the growth layer, we move the conference to Godsbanen on day 2. Here we invite you to a national conversation about - and with - the emerging cultural scene. How can we ensure that the creative emerging talents and small cultural actors will continue to have a place in the cities in the future?
You can look forward to meeting a number of prominent voices from both Denmark and abroad, who will set the stage for engaging conversations and break-out sessions. Together, we will explore how we can shape and influence the future of arts and culture, making it even more relevant to more people.
