Esbjerg Festival Week is an explosion of cultural offerings. It's the city's celebration, and there's something for everyone

The many events of the Festival Week are organized by the city's creative enthusiasts, associations, and cultural offerings. The festival itself is organized by the Event Secretariat in Esbjerg Municipality. Together with the city's cultural institutions, café/restaurateurs, and associations, we create the activities for this very special week.
There's something for all ages, high and low, fine art or mainstream-just explore the program in all its corners and dive into trying something new.
We look forward to seeing you at the many free concerts on the Town Square, remember to book a spot for our long table dinner under the open sky, head over to view art in the containers at the Dock Harbor, enjoy opera, ballet, street art, ColorFun, hang out with friends in the teepee at Heerup's Garden, join the many different creative workshops, listen to lectures, and much, much more...
This year, new additions to the program include the Kids Tour for the little ones, a business competition for Esbjerg's business community, a concert revealing the Sound of Esbjerg, and a community day for the city's youth.
