Duoen "Pasión Andaluza" den samler talentet og karrieren fra guitaristen Carles Pons og pianisten José M. Cuenca. De præsenterer et program, hvor ledemotivet er musik med andalusiske rødder, men komponeret eksplicit for klaver og guitar. Inkorporerer også sådanne symbolske værker i musiklitteratur som Adagio fra Koncerten i Aranjuez af Maestro Rodrigo eller Asturias af I. Albéniz. Duoen har spillet koncerter i Spanien, Frankrig, Italien, Portugal... med stor kritikerros

Carles Pons i Altés har blandt andet spillet koncerter i Spanien, Bahrain, Tyrkiet, Bulgarien, Brasilien, Peru, Mexico, Tyskland, Frankrig, Schweiz, Østrig, Ungarn, Storbritannien, Italien, USA, Japan...

Han har indspillet for ETB, Radio Euskadi, RAI-3; Tyrkisk Radio Television, Bahrain Radio Television, UCS-TV i Brasilien eller RTS-1 i Serbien.

Han har optrådt som solist med forskellige orkestre, under ledelse af dirigenter som Frank Rodriguez-Freites, Jordi Colomer, Juan José Ocón, Béla Köteles eller Michele Santorsola.

I 2019 tog han på en turné, sponsoreret af Spain Arts & Culture, gennem USA, i New York, Portland (Guitar Series), Nehalem (Oregon) og Widhbay Island (WA); og i Japan (Tokyo, Yokohama og Nagoya).

José M. Cuenca har udviklet en omfattende kunstnerisk karriere i Spanien, Belgien, Polen, Tyskland. Cuba, Storbritannien, Frankrig, USA, Venezuela, Brasilien Ukraine, Italien, Filippinerne, Japan... optræder i prestigefyldte auditorier som Carnegie Hall i New York, National Auditorium og Teatro Real i Madrid, Purcell Room i London, Palacio de la Guitar fra Japan...
Sammen med sin bror Francisco Cuenca har han udviklet 8 albums.
Han er blevet tildelt af Linares Byråd med "Kulturprisen" 2001 eller "Linarens sin Fronteras". I 2009 udnævnte byrådet i Puente Genil (Córdoba) ham til "yndlingssøn".

I 2010 blev han tildelt "Andrés Segovia-medaljen" af Andrés Segovia Foundation

The dúo "Pasión Andaluza" it brings together the talent and career of the guitarist Carles Pons and the pianist José M. Cuenca. They present a program where the leitmotif is music with Andalusian roots, but composed expressly for piano and guitar. Also incorporates such symbolic works in musical literature as the Adagio from the Concert of Aranjuez by Maestro Rodrigo or Asturias by I. Albéniz.

The duo has performed concerts in Spain, France, Italy, Portugal... with great critical acclaim Carles Pons i Altés has performed concerts, among other places, in Spain, Bahrain, Turkey, Bulgaria, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Great Britain, Italy, USA, Japan...

He has recorded for ETB, Radio Euskadi, RAI-3; Turkish Radio Television, Bahrain Radio Television, UCS-TV in Brazil or RTS-1 in Serbia.

José M. Cuenca has developed an extensive artistic career in Spain, Belgium, Poland, Germany. Cuba, United Kingdom, France, USA, Venezuela, Brazil Ukraine, Italy, Philippines, Japan... performing in prestigious auditoriums such as Carnegie Hall in New York, National Auditorium and Teatro Real in Madrid, Purcell Room in London, Palacio de la Guitar from Japan...
Together with his brother Francisco Cuenca he has developed 8 albums.

He has been awarded by the Linares City Council with the "Culture Award" 2001 or the "Linarenses sin Fronteras". In 2009, the Puente Genil City Council (Córdoba) named him "Favorite Son".
In 2010 he was awarded the "Andrés Segovia Medal" by the Andrés Segovia Foundation.
