Nærvær Festival 2024

Nærvær means: "attention, interest, love, or care that a person shows." Nærvær Festival focuses on community, hope, and presence with workshops, music, and good vibes. It's a festival you don't want to miss. Nærvær Festival is free!

The programme will be updated here

With talks, youth activities, and concerts, young people have taken the initiative to set hope, sustainability, and joy of life on the agenda for the Nærvær Festival in Maribo on September 20 and 21, 2024. Five years since the festival started, Den Gyldne Banan (The Golden Banana) will now help leave a lasting impact on the festival.

Nærvær Festival 2024 focuses on climate, sustainability, and hope. This means that in addition to the music, this year there will be visits from Generation Hope and Gro Selv (Grow Yourself), who create activities that provide a space to relax and contribute to leaving a lasting positive impact on the local community - even after the festival has ended.

Nærvær Festival was first held in 2019 in a regional collaboration between MGK, Lolland Music School, and the youth association Den Gyldne Banan. Since then, the young people from Den Gyldne Banan have built on the concept and taken on more and more of the work with Nærvær with the help of partners such as Iværksætter Lolland, Lolland Youth Council, Headspace, Gro Selv, Generation Hope, Maribo Handel, and Lolland Music School, as well as support from Lolland Municipality, Østifterne, Culture Region Storstrøm, Rosa, Gro Selv, Tuborg Foundation, and companies like Syddan
