Lördag 5:e oktober är det dags att inviga hösten med något så passande som två gothband.
De svenska gothrocklegendarerna Funhouse kommer att äntra scenen på Palatset med support av Gallow's Eve , ett nyare gothband som snabbt gjort ett starkt avtryck inom scenen.
Funhouse --
Funhouse is a Swedish rock band that was formed by four punk rockers with long hair in 1986. After releasing a self-financed single, "Tormentor", and with gigs all over Sweden, the band was soon signed. In the 90's the band recorded several albums and established itself as a great live band.
Funhouse became one of the leading bands in the genre of dark rock in Europe. After endless trips across Europe in an orgy of cherry wine, gin, gigs, interviews etc. to promote the album and the music they call "goth n roll", the band went into the studio to record a new album, but the studio session turned into a nightmare. It was obvious that the price of the long "goth n roll" lifestyle had finally caught up with the band.
Long story short...
After a long hiatus the band has come back with the Forever True 2020 tour, starting in Berlin on March 21, 2020. With new energy the band has since then been touring and starting to release new material.
Funhouse have released six albums and four singles as well as headlining European festivals such as Whitby Gothic Weekend, Herbstnaechte, The Witches of Easter, Castle Party and Leipzig Gothik Treffen. The bands latest album, Sometimes I Wish, was released in april 2024.

Gallow's Eve --
Gallow's Eve were formed in the fall of 2021 and consist of three lost souls from southern Sweden. The band members are well travelled musicians hailing from such bands as Kindred Spirits and Grand Rezerva. The band's debut EP dropped in the Summer of 2022 and immediately got airplay on several alternative radio shows and received high appraise from the goth scene. Before the year was over the released Just Like Us, a single that gives a perfect sample of the intense gothic rock that has earned the band so much praise and attention in a short space of time. After several singles, the band released their first albumin the beginning of 2024.
