1.7 km southwest of Fanø is the sand bank Galgerev. One of the largest seal populations in the Wadden Sea lies here and enjoys life. Join our guide on a hike to the seal bank. It is one of the great experiences on Fanø.

At low tide, the water has receded so that we can walk on the seabed.
Our seal safari is a real family experience and we do a lot to give the children a few exciting hours. We stop several times along the way and talk about the seals and the fantastic natural area in which we are.
Remember rubber boots and warm clothes, as the trip takes place on foot on the bottom of the mudflats and it is (almost) always windy on the mudflats. In summer, the trip can be completed in bare toes.
It is possible to rent rubber boots from Club Fanø's office at Sønderklit 4a in Fanø Bad.
It is possible to take a pram, a pushchair or similar for small children who cannot walk all the way. It is also possible to bring a dog on a leash.
In the period from March to June and again from September to October, this tour is guided in 3 languages, Danish, German and English. In July and August, the tour is guided in Danish and English.
