Ukraine House invites you to a discussion with award-winning author Yevhenia Kuznetsova about her latest book, "Drabyna" (The Ladder).
Through the discussion, we will reflect on the experience of living through the full-scale Russian invasion abroad, especially on its impact on family relations. In the book, the author tells the story of Tolik, a man who emigrated to Spain to get away from his family, yet is forced to confront his issues as the family moves in with him after the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion. "The Ladder" was selected as the BBC Book of the Year 2023 and is available in the Ukrainian House bookstore and library (in Ukrainian).
