This hands-on workshop is tailored for advanced students who wish to explore the art of creating stunning suspensions and transitions with a minimalistic aesthetic. Dive into the philosophy behind using the bare minimum of rope to achieve beauty and functionality in your ties.

Workshop Overview:Class 1: Fundamentals of Minimalistic Suspensions- Introduction to Minimalism: Understanding the philosophy and principles of minimalism in shibari.- Suspension Basics: Techniques for creating safe and secure suspensions with minimal rope.- Essential Ties and Frictions: Identifying and mastering the essential knots and frictions necessary for minimalistic suspensions.- Hands-On Practice: Guided practice to apply the techniques and receive personalized feedback.

Class 2: Advanced Techniques and Transitions- Refining Suspensions: Fine-tuning minimalistic suspensions for different body types and scenarios.- Transitions and Flow: Learning how to create smooth transitions and maintain flow with minimal rope.- Philosophical Insights: Delving deeper into the philosophical reasons behind minimalistic shibari.- Creative Application: Encouraging creativity within the constraints of minimalism.

Requirements:- Participants must have a solid understanding of suspension basics and at least a basic knowledge of transitions.- A minimum of eight 8-meter lengths of natural fiber rope (jute or hemp recommended).- Comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement.

What to Bring:- Your own ropes (at least eight 8-meter lengths)- Notebook and pen for taking notes- Water and snacks for breaks- An open mind and willingness to embrace the minimalist approach
