Join Us for a Linocut Printmaking Workshop with Fra Tak! Hosted by Fra Tak, an Italian linocut artist based in Copenhagen, this hands-on workshop will introduce you to the art of linocut printmaking.
Fra Tak will guide you step-by-step through the entire process, from sketching to printing, ensuring a fun and creative experience. No prior experience is needed, and all materials will be provided!
We'll begin by sketching our designs and transferring them onto the linoleum. Then, we'll move on to carving the design, followed by the final phase: printing your artwork on paper! Participants will create between 5 to 10 A4 prints, and there will be a variety of coloured papers to choose from for your prints. We'll be working with a single-color layer for the print.
Each participant will leave with their own unique prints to take home!
To ensure everyone has enough time to carve and print, we have set a maximum of 5 participants for this workshop. The workshop will take place on October 6th, from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
The workshop runs for 4.5 hours, including a 0.5-hour break. Plus, we'll keep you fueled with coffee, tea, and snacks
