Køge Marina udlejer bådpladser til alle. Fast plads tildeles fortrinsvis bådejere, der er tilmeldt folkeregistret i Køge Kommune og som ejer mindst halvdelen af den tilmeldte båd. Havnen har "Blåt Flag". Køge Nordstrand ligger i umiddelbar forlængelse af lystbådehavnen. Ved havnen findes godt fiskevand med næsten alle typer fisk
