Thorvaldsens Museum

På Thorvaldsens Museum kan man først og fremmest se de skulpturer, som den verdensberømte, danske billedhugger Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770-1844) udførte. Men Thorvaldsen var også kunstsamler. Så foruden hans egne værker rummer museet hans samlinger af malerkunst, af vaser og figurer fra antikken, af bøger og mønter og meget andet.
In Thorvaldsens Museum you can first and foremost see the sculptures made by the most famous of Danish artists, Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770-1844). However, Thorvaldsen was also a collector of art.
