Elmer The Dane er både en insider og outsider i dansk kunst, og viger ikke tilbage for de store og komplicerede spørgsmål i kunsten og politikken. En stor alvor gennemsyret af humor folder sig ud over billeder fra fire årtier.

OBS! DENNE KONCERT FOREGÅR PÅ LÆSØ KUNSTHAL. MESMER consists of the three musicians and composers Emil Jensen, Victor Dybbroe and Anders Filipsen, who have been creating music together the last 15 years in various groups.
MESMER is fascinated by how sound (and lack of) influences us as people and how the different natural and cultural environments create different musical scenarios.
MESMER is a new outfit, but it is at the same time a continuation of a working community that has lasted for 15 years, and which, among other things, has manifested itself in ensembles such as Lydkollektivet NEWCLEAR and Traveling Tribes, with whom they have received 2 DMA's, as world composers of the year, and performed at Roskilde Festival. In addition to the above collaborations, the three artists have worked together on film music, radio stories and audiovisual projects.
Anders Filipsen (composer, musician, soundartist) has released 10 records in his own name or as part of bands and orchestras. He is a member of Danish recordlabel and soundart-collective ILKmusic. He has been nominated for 8 DMA's and won 2. Has worked with people such as John Tchicai, Kresten Osgood, Sofia Jernberg, Nastio Mosquito, Ane Trolle, Rumpistol and groups such as Travelling Tribes, The Black Nothing, Lydkollektivet NEWCLEAR, New Kids, TEETH, KO3 and The hOpening.
Victor Dybbroe is part of the international renowned group Girls in Airports, that has released 5 albums and has been appraised for their unique way of mixing genres. Furthermore he has worked with artists such as Caroline Henderson, Vinnie Who og Quadron. He has won 4 DMA'er with three different groups, and received the Carl-award as "Talent of the year" with the band The Kikos in 2016.
Emil Jensen has created unique works of sound with people from South-India, Ghana and Japan og has recorded, produced and performed with people such as Trentemøller, Nobody Beats the Beats and Clara Bryld. Furthermore he has worked with performing arts, installations and performances with a.o. The Mob and Superhands
