»Heart of Earth« samler 17 talentfulde ukrainske kunstnere, som reflekterer over deres dybt forankrede forbindelse til deres hjemland.
»Heart of Earth« er udtænkt af Mystetskyi Arsenal i Kyiv og samler 17 talentfulde ukrainske kunstnere, som reflekterer over deres dybt forankrede forbindelse til deres hjemland. De dykker også ned i presserende temaer: udnyttelse af kolonier, brug af fødevarer som våben og krigens miljømæssige konsekvenser.
Udstillingen er blevet opdateret til sin visning i København og sætter også tematisk fokus på Ukraines afgørende rolle i den globale fødevaresikkerhed.
Projektet gennemføres med støtte fra IZOLYATSIA-fonden, Trans Europe Halles og Malý Berlín og medfinansieres af #ZMINA_Rebuilding-programmet, der er oprettet med støtte fra EU under en særlig tildeling af forslag til støtte for ukrainske fordrevne og de ukrainske kulturelle og kreative sektorer

Through Time". Prof. Paul Robert Magocsi, a distinguished historian and political scientist from the University of Toronto in exchange with leading Danish experts will discuss the history of Ukrainian-Jewish and Danish-Jewish relations.
The talk will cover how these communities in different countries have coexisted, key historical events, and the parallels and differences in their experiences, especially during World War II. The discussion will also explore how learning from history, current relationships, and cultural identities today can provide valuable lessons for addressing global issues
