Galerie Gerly was founded in 1980 by Gerly Zenia Jørgensen and is located in a basement in the center of Copenhagen. In 1984 the gallery was extended by one and a half story to make space for bigger exhibitions and better storage facilities. The gallery arranges 10 separate exhibitions a year, primarily with young Danish painters and sculptors. Galerie Gerly also presents a stockroom - by customers called " the treasury " - where all the artists of the gallery are represented by a minimum of three works.
