Faurschou Foundation is a privately owned art institution with a collection of contemporary art of the highest international standard. Faurschou Foundation has two exhibition spaces, one in Copenhagen's North Harbour and one in Beijing's attractive 798 Art District. Faurschou Foundation presents some of the world's most acclaimed artists and the Foundation's high-profile art collection is continually developed and expanded. Since its inauguration in 2011 Faurschou Foundation has established itself as a significant art institution showing solo exhibitions by among others Cai Guo-Qiang, Louise Bourgeois, Ai Weiwei, Shirin Neshat, Gabriel Oro- zco and Chen Zhen. Faurschou Foundation has gained wide recognition both locally and internationally for the quality of the exhibitions shown, and several works in the collection have been lent to major museums around the world.
