Kongens Nytorv lit. The Kings New Square was planned during the reign of Christian V (late 17th Century) - one of the largest squares in Copenhagen surrounded by impressive buildings such as The Royal Theater, Magasin du Nord, Harsdorff's Mansion, the French Embassy etc.
